DIYstro is an online distribution system for bands and labels. You upload your own mp3s and we provide you with tools to help sell your music almost anywhere online. And selling your music on your website is as simple as copying and pasting some simple text.

Bands and labels that have some HTML and CSS experience can customize the way DIYstro looks.

Nothing. No sign up fees, no monthly or yearly fees, and no per-album upload fees. For bands we pay you 75% of your retail price. Our commission helps keep the servers running and our card processing fees. If you are a label please contact us for a custom commission rate. info@diystro.com

Absolutely. We have special widgets for websites, blogs, we have a URL shortener for Twitter, and we will be releasing a Facebook app very soon.

Absolutely. We built DIYstro with both bands and labels in mind. You can upload as many albums as you have in your catalog.

No. If you are overwhelmed by the amount of music you need to add to DIYstro, email us at info@diystro.com and we will give you instructions on how to ship your CDs to us and we will add them to your account for you.

DIYstro is run by Matthew Terich and Daniel Pirone. We started the company in early 2010 to solve a problem we needed for ourselves: easy, online music distribution.

Our depth of experience includes software architecture, user experience and visual design, music production and engineering, software engineering, management, and yes, we’ve put touring miles on the van.

We hold degrees in computer science and music, and have built interfaces and scalable systems for Amazon.com, Speakeasy.net, Whitepages.com, Social Gold, major telcos, non-profits, and countless startups in the Seattle area.
